Latinas in the English Game

Two Latinas, a player and a coach, travel to Watford, England, to challenge themselves in a new culture and try their hand in English football. 

She Is Maria: What It Takes to Belong in the Game

She Is Maria follows a Mexican woman’s journey from Los Angeles to London, where she shadows English coach Renee Hector, one of the few women of color coaching professional football in the world.

Their journeys and struggles run parallel, revealing the barriers they both face as women of color pursuing careers in football.  

Gamechanger: Every Kid Belongs in the Game

Gamechanger is an animated short film based on the LaGolda series featuring a young character coming out as gay. At a time when LGBTQ+ representation in children’s media remains limited, LaGolda breaks the mold by celebrating diverse identities and showing that every child belongs in sports and in the stories we tell.
